NEWBODIES/NOBODIES at CICA Museum in Korea
I am exibiting new photographs documenting the beauty in death, the richness found in the stillness of a breathless body. The exhibition is curated by Dr. Leejin Kim, Art Director, CICA Museum, and Dr. Norberto Gomez, Jr., Chair, Department of Visual and Performing Arts, Montgomery College. and features work that attempts to explore, imagine and critique a new figuration, a new-body (virtual, cyborg, queer), body-politic, or a no-body (nobody), COVID-body, body-horror, cyberspace, and transhumanism, as well as animal bodies and the natural/unnatural world(s). The exhibition is a collaborative project of CICA and Montgomery College with exhibitions hosted at both institutions opening March 18 and running through April 19, 2024.

IceBox Studios
In 2021, Steven Jones and I moved IceBox Studios to Frolich Lane in Hyattsville, Maryland, immediately outside of Washignton DC. In the process the studio grew, survived a devastating fire, and, with the help of a supportive artistic community, became a space for makers who need larger or dirtier workspace. Today the studio is going strong with nine artists working in a variety of media including glass, clay, metal, and more.
